We are two Italian guys who are interested in the possibility to do the Rocio pilgrimage from Sanlucar to El Rocio, by crossing the Guadalquivir river and through the Parque de Doñana. I’ve been to El Rocio many years ago but I didn’t do the Pilgrimage, I only saw the people arriving, so I don’t know how it exactly works. Any information is much appreciated (if we can join a group, exact dates of the Sanlucar – Rocio route for this years, how many days it entails, what we have to bring to travel and sleep, if we need to ask for passes or permits etc…).
